In 1960, Israel announced the arrest of former Nazi German high-ranking official Adolf Eichmann, known as the "executioner", and held a trial in Jerusalem in 1961. Hannah Arendt, a renowned Jewish female philosopher who has resided in the United States for many years (played by Barbara Sukova), was invited by The New Yorker to contribute to this trial.



When Hannah Arendt went to Jerusalem to watch the trial, she found a rift between Eichmann's exposition, public opinion, and her own philosophical thinking. When Arendt elevated Eichmann's behavior to a philosophical level, her article unsurprisingly sparked negative criticism and criticism in society, and some Hannah Arendt's old friends even turned against her. Directed by British female director Sofia Finis and written and hosted by one of the most dazzling international academic stars today, Slavoj Zizek, the documentary "The Paradox Movie Guide" will present a palace level feast for film enthusiasts.



In the 150 minute long film, Slavore Zizek, who possesses extraordinary charm, uses witty phrases and quotes 42 classic film segments shot by famous directors such as Hitchcock, David Lynch, Takovsky, and the Wodrowski brothers, melting psychoanalysis, subjectivity, consciousness forms, and popular culture into one, exploring the hidden language behind the film and guiding the audience to think about the connection between themselves and the film.



As the most important inheritor of Lacan's theory, Slavore Zizek has long been committed to communicating the relationship between Lacan's psychoanalytic theory and Marxist philosophy, forming extremely unique academic ideas and political positions, which some scholars refer to as Hegelian thinkers.
